Arturo Schomburg Satellite Academy is seeking a Science teacher for Fall
2008.
We are a small alternative public high school located in the South Bronx.
Our students create portfolios; they don't take Regents exams. We are
looking for a creative and energetic science educator for this coming fall.
The position requires strong lesson-planning skills, an ability to connect
with students, and lab development/facilitation. Connecting science to
issues of social impact is a plus. The position also entails mentoring an
advisory group of 16-18 students and regular collaboration with colleagues.
